The hotel was originally built in 1968. Soon it became the most popular spot on the island. Unfortunately, It was abandoned for ten years in the 90’s. In 2003 we discovered its magical ruins and were captivated by the beauty of the place.
The BLISS concept was born…
“SEASIDE” on the intense blue waterfront, and “HILLSIDE”, hidden in the midst of many luxuriant shades of green. We have created an authentic place for you, where sobriety, elegance and simplicity are combined to blend in with nature.

Natural features of bliss
Bliss Hotel Mahé has amazing natural features such as the lush green vegetation of the hillside where the pool is hanging. Down to the seaside of the hotel where an immaculate white sanded beach stretch in front of the hotel.
Let’s not forget to mention the “rockpool” a natural pool in the ocean circled by granite rocks to enclose calm waters.
